Over the last few years the NY State Senate has been a bottleneck for environmental legislation.  Bills such as the Bigger Better Bottle Bill, the Clean Water Protection/Flood Prevention Act, and the Community Preservation Act passed the Assembly in 2006, but died in the Senate.

The goal of the Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter PAC in 2006 is to make the State Senate more environmentally friendly.  To accomplish this, the PAC will be assisting endorsees that are determined to pass good environmental legislation in the Senate.

In order to adequately fund the PAC, we need members such as you to make generous contributions.  With your support, the Sierra Club can help elect State Senators who are dedicated to preserving the environment.

We encourage you to attend the reception. If you cannot attend, please consider making a contribution. In either case, please make your check payable to NY Sierra Club PAC and mail to NY Sierra Club PAC, c/o Ken Baer, 91 6th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217.
